Dr. Kristy D. Heatly

pic1 Dr. Kristy D. Heatly is a native Texan, born and raised in Vernon, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in 1993 and worked on graduate studies in Microbiology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas until 1995 where she was an active member of the Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Fraternity and Graduate Teaching Assistant in Biology.

She then went on to graduate from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 1999, where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Fraternity. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas in 2002, serving as Chief Resident.

She was employed at Scott and White Clinic for 5 years as an Attending Staff Physician and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine where she profoundly enjoyed teaching medical students. She is a board certified Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice.

The Heatly FamilyDr. Heatly believes firmly in preventative care and incorporates a combination of compassion and skill into every patient visit. Stemming from her Osteopathic medical training, her philosophy centers on the treatment of each individual patient as a whole person. She iincorporates this into her practice by emphasizing the importance of good physical, mental and emotional health. She resides in Round Rock with her husband, Michael and young son, Samuel. Dr. Heatly now enjoys private practice in Georgetown and looks forward to treating your whole family.
